#1 Market Square for DUMPLINGS

Head over to Market Square for a lively, bustling food market which also boasts some artisan and craft stores. Try to spot the dumpling stand which arguably serves some of the most delicious dumplings in the UK. Bring your food to the Kings Parade and eat outside Kings college!

#2 Kings College

If you visit any college in Cambridge, visit Kings College. Arguably, the back entrance is much more picturesque, donning the most beautiful flowers, greenery and waterscapes. Go for a walk through the college, visit the chapel, and wander around the premises. You may need to pay/steal someone's student card.

#3 The Granta Pub

The Granta is a lovely pub situated on the quietest and most picturesque stretch of the River Cam between Cambridge centre and Mill Pond, Coe Fen gardens. It boasts a lovely outside area which looks over the river cam and was a favorite of ours!

#4 Punting!!!

You can't go to Cambridge without going for a punt. Opt to punt on your own and eschew the tourist trap tours. Bring drinks, food, and make sure your boat is pointing in the right direction.

#5 Jesus Green for a Picnic

When the green isn't rife with drunk cantabs, it is a prime spot for a lovely picnic in the sun. Pop to the Maypole for a drink after as well!

#6 Varsity Hotel Rooftop for a Cocktail

Pop over to the varsity hotel rooftop hotel for a cocktail in central cam for the best views of the city. We could never afford this when we were students but was a treat for special occasions! Maybe book ahead?
