Best long walks in London
#1 Regents Canal (North)
The winding and never ending paths along Regents Canal are some of London’s best entertainments. Meet by Paddington st and head up to the idyllic Little Venice, then dipping through the wooded paths around Regents Park, bustling Camden and finish in Angel for a well earned coffee and cake!

#2 Mayfair and the royal parks
To soak in London’s finest streets, greenest grass plus a palace or two, head south from Bond st station down New Bond st. Window shop and dream your way to St James Park, Green Park and finally Hyde Park. From here, either rest your legs in the beautiful rose garden or grab a rowing boat on The Serpentine lake if you still have the stamina!

#3 Shoreditch and Regents Canal (East)
If I have a spare afternoon, this is generally how I use it! Shoreditch is such a visually eclectic area - just don’t forget to look up from the touristy food markets whilst wondering Brick Lane to see the world famous street art towering above you! Then head north to Columbia road. But don’t lose yourself in the flower market or arty shops for too long as Hackney and Regents canal is just around the corner. Stroll down the canal as it passes by Victoria Park - I usually hop off at Mile End and grab a pint at one of the local pubs to finish.

#4 South banks of the River Thames
Arguably London’s best feature is the River Thames curving its way through iconic landscapes, adding glistening waves to every scene. Biased to the south side, I recommend grabbing a snack from Borough Market then heading west along Southbank. You’ll pass the London Eye, views of Parliament and walk under a dozen fairy lights on your way. You can stay on this track all the way down past Vauxhall Bridge to the newly refurbed Battersea power station. From here, explore the buzzing riverside restaurants, or, perched on a hill in Battersea park, watch the sun set and colours defract across the water.
